This summer I absolutely love messy 60's hair with lots of volume and what better inspiration is there then Bridget Bardot. This weekend I'm going to attempt to recreate the look myself (but with a wee bit of a Tanesha twist.) If it turns out OK then I will share the photos with you, although maybe it will be funny to laugh at the mess I create if I completely fail at recreating the look?
Sorry for the short post and no images of myself, I'm still not feeling great and my skin is looking awful.
Also i thought i would show you a small part (and i do mean small) of my final project for University, there are a few mistakes on it (as this wasn't the final version but now that its over with i really can not be bothered to reload it online) https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B0RtWPbLg1VKVWxTM2VrdTU3c1U/edit?pli=1# I thought some of you that are thinking about studying journalism at university might be interested.

ReplyDeleteDitto! Earlier this week I was thinking it would be lovely to inject some 60s glamour into my life this summer. I'm really looking forward to seeing how yours turn out for some inspiration :) xo
ReplyDeleteMessy 60s is possibly my favourite thing ever, nothing beats a bit of dishevelled 60s glamour

i really love the big beehive and backcombed messy hair styles from the 60s. i just wish my hair would go in the directions i want so that i can recreate the styles myself.

I was a child in the 60's and so remember my cousin and aunt backcombing their hair up. I loved the make up and clothes it was fun.
