Beauty or the Beast

Blouse and Shoes: Topshop (shoes found here), Skirt: Newlook

This outfit isn't my usual style, I haven't worn this skirt for years but this week I've been busy sorting through my closet and decided not to throw it and to take the plunge and wear it out. I'm aware that it kind of looks like a tutu and that it’s unbelievably childish (that's probably because I purchased it from the children's section!) but I kind of like it that way.

These shoes are my new favourite shoes, they are so comfortable and I love the colour, they will be perfect for Autumn. Excuse the dog hairs on my tights, Poppy's hair gets everywhere! That’s the problem with having a white and brown haired dog you can see it on every piece of clothing.

To finish this post I thought I would leave you with a little treat here I've just finished watching the film and thought you might all enjoy my favourite part. If I won the lottery the first thing I would do is build a library like the one he gives her.

Top: Newlook, Trousers and Bag: Primark, Shoes: Topshop

Hello my lovelies, how are you this fine day? I hope your all enjoying the lovely weather if you’re in the UK, I know most of us have been waiting for what feels like forever to get a little bit of sunshine! Although if i'm honest I can’t wait until Autumn, there's so many lovely jumpers  in the shops at the moment that I can’t wait to wear. Autumn is by far my favourite time of year fashion wise.

Now on to my outfit, I finally got my hands on these Primark trousers I've had my eyes on for a while. I spotted them a few months ago when Primark first released there Autumn/Winter preview. I love the print and the monochrome colours, there my perfect statement trousers.

Blue eye girls

Products used: MUA Glitter Ball, Rituals: Peach Glow, Boots 17: Gold

Sorry for the lack of posts lately I have been very busy with work and enjoying the summer (yes i know... what summer?). On Thursday I took a trip down to London to see the Olympic marathon swimming in Hyde Park and honestly It was amazing! I've uploaded some pictures onto my Facebook page if you want to take a look! The link is located in my sidebar.

Now I know this is nothing new for most of you, but I thought I would share with you how to make blue eyes really 'pop'. My eyes are one of my favourite features but I rarely wear eye make-up to show them off, when I do wear eye make-up however I always reach for browns and peachy orange shades. Orange is a great way to make blue eyes stand out! My eyes aren't the brightest of blues so I really like to use make-up to emphasise them.

1. Use a brown smoky eye as a base for this look, brown looks great against blue eyes.

2. On the creases of your eyes use a peachy or orange tone to brighten eyes.

3. I then added a gold shimmer shadow on the outer corners of my eyes to complete the look, although you can skip this step if you want a more wearable day time look.

How do you make your eyes stand out? Do you have a favourite feature you like to make the most off?

Magic Mirror, on the wall, who is the fairest one of all?

Dress: Fashion Union, Cardigan: Primark, Flatforms: Boohoo

Another outfit, another character! This one was actually accidental, I had no intention of looking like snow white and didn't even realise my outfit resembles Snow Whites until a little girl shouted "She looks like Snow White!" I won’t lie I was chuffed; I might make it a regular thing dressing like a Disney princess. What girl doesn't want to look like a princess?

Of course I just happened to be enjoying a lovely red apple when we took these photos!

What Disney princess is your favourite? I love snow white because of her pale skin and blood red lips. It’s such a pretty classic look to copy.
