I'll take you to the Galaxy and back

Jumper: New Look (old), Skirt: Topshop, Boots: Asos, Socks: Topshop, Lipstick: ELF  in cheerful cherry

Today is my boyfriend’s birthday so today we have spent the day watching a movie and eating a crazy amount of muchies. It’s been a really lovely day, we watched Dark Shadows and I gave him a surprise birthday cake I made him (picture on my Facebook) and of course some presents.

Last night we also went out for dinner and ate huge burgers before watching Paranormal Activity 4. I'm not going to talk about the film as I don't want to give any spoilers away plus I want to sleep tonight! I wore the above outfit out as I wanted to look nice for his birthday without looking over dressed for the cinema. This skirt is one of my favourite pieces I have bought for autumn, I'm a big fan of galaxy print but this has to be the best print I have found!

The Chelsea boots are clearly a copy of the Topshop ones but literally half the price, they are so comfy and I completely recommend them.

On a side note if anyone is going to see Paranormal Activity then try not to jump and squeal like I did!

Happy Birthday!

My little blog was one last week and i completely forgot, so let's all wish it a belated birthday! Feel free to cut into a slice of cyber cake and enjoy the above video to celebrate!

I can't believe I've been blogging for over a year now, it really has flown by. When I think of what my blog was like when it started I'm so proud of how far its come! Lets be honest my first few blog posts were not the greatest and I'm pretty sure no one even read them!

I've spoken to some great people through my blog so thank you for following, reading, commenting and helping make my blog what it is!

Nerds wear glasses

Firmoo glasses model SD2249 in colour Amber*

Something most of you probably won’t know is that I actually need reading glasses, I love wearing glasses (although I don't wear them enough) so when Firmoo contacted me to review a pair of their glasses I couldn't resist! I'm sure lots of you have been reading reviews of Firmoo glasses; they seem to be taking the blogging world by storm, probably because they offer a free pair of glasses to new customers. Yes free!

I've been wearing my glasses for nearly a week now, and so far I couldn't be happier. I love the design and colour and the quality is good considering the cheap prices Firmoo offer. I got my glasses matched to my current prescription and they are definitely true to form, I can see perfectly while wearing them.

Glasses don’t have to be nerdy and frumpy there are so many great styles to choose from now, and Firmoo offer a large selection. I had to narrow my choice down from about 10 so I was definitely happy with their range.

My only negative about these glasses is that the frames are very plastic, however you can’t really complain considering the price difference compared to buying glasses at your local opticians.

Firmoo also offer non-prescription lenses for fashion purposes, is the sexy secretary look in this autumn?

For anyone that wears glasses I suggest you check out the Firmoo website here, try your free pair and  see what you think! If any of you do decide to get a pair I would love to see what ones you choose!

DIY school jumper

I purchased this jumper from the school uniform range for only £1.50 with the intention of bleaching it but chickened out so decided to add some studs! This is one of the easiest DIY's I have ever done. Simply push some studs through your fabric and bend shut. It's as simple as that!

I already had the studs at home but you can purchase them cheaply on Ebay, I found 100 for 99p from China.

Have you done any recent DIY's? If you give this a go then send me a picture I would love to see your creations.
